The latest rendition of the Renault Triber has been sighted, marking the beginning of its facelift journey. Earlier announcements by Renault India MD and CEO Venkatram Mamillapalle hinted at upcoming facelifts for both the Kiger and Triber models this year, with the Kiger prototype already on the testing grounds last month.
The sneak peek at the Triber facelift reveals subtle adjustments to its design, with potential enhancements to its interior in terms of materials and features. While the exterior changes seem minor, the rear and side alterations are evident in the camouflaged spy shots, showcasing familiar elements alongside possible minor tweaks.
The Triber’s distinctive elements, such as its upward crease and window line kink, appear to have been maintained, hinting at a continuity in design language. The anticipation for sharper styling aligning with Renault’s global models is apparent, although the specifics remain a mystery until further unveilings.
Internally, the Triber facelift is poised for a revamped dashboard, lighter hues, enhanced materials, and an extended list of features akin to the refreshed Nissan Magnite. Despite the aesthetic improvements, the mechanical heart of the Triber is expected to remain untouched, retaining the current 1.0-liter naturally aspirated three-cylinder petrol engine producing 72hp and 96Nm. Transmission options are likely to persist with the 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT setups.
As the Triber embarks on its facelift journey, the fusion of design upgrades and consistent performance promises an exciting evolution for Renault’s sub-4-meter MPV.
