The latest data on the Porsche Taycan’s pricing is now accessible on the manufacturer’s website. Specifically, the Taycan RWD is now available in India for Rs 1.67 crore, with bookings open and deliveries already underway. The facelifted Taycan’s prices were disclosed last year, but until now, only the 4S and Turbo versions have been offered in the market.

The current price range in India for the Taycan spans from Rs 1.67 crore to Rs 2.54 crore. The India-spec Taycan RWD boasts a remarkable WLTP range of up to 590km, adding to its appeal. Notably, the Taycan RWD is priced Rs 24 lakh lower than the 4S variant and a significant Rs 87 lakh less than the Turbo model.

With the introduction of the Taycan RWD, the lineup has become more inclusive, providing consumers with more options at varying price points. The availability of the Taycan in Turbo S and Turbo GT guises globally has not been confirmed for the Indian market. Additionally, the Taycan Cross Turismo estate variant is not part of the lineup in India.

Porsche has confirmed that the Taycan RWD in India will feature the 89kWh battery pack, offering a WLTP range of 503-590km on a single charge. In contrast, the 4S version provides a range of 549-642km. Internationally, the RWD model is also available with an upgraded Performance Battery Plus, boasting a larger 105kWh battery pack.

The Taycan RWD is equipped with an 89kWh battery powering a single 408hp, 410Nm motor at the rear wheels, resulting in a rear-wheel-drive setup. This configuration enables the Taycan RWD to achieve a 0-100kph time of 4.8 seconds and a top speed of 230kph.

For charging, the Taycan RWD comes with an 11kW AC charger, which takes approximately 9 hours to fully charge the 89kWh battery. This model also features an 800V architecture for efficient fast charging, capable of up to 270kW under optimal conditions.
