“ServiceNow Introduces AI Agents to Enhance Business Processes”
ServiceNow launches Yokohama platform with AI agents for seamless integration and productivity gains. Learn how this release impacts enterprise workflows.
“
ServiceNow recently unveiled its latest Yokohama platform, introducing a diverse range of AI agents across various sectors to enhance workflows and optimize end-to-end business outcomes.
The Yokohama platform release showcases teams of preconfigured AI agents that aim to bring immediate gains in productivity. These agents work seamlessly on a unified platform, ensuring smooth integration and coordination across different business departments. Moreover, the platform offers tools to create, onboard, and manage the entire lifecycle of AI agents, facilitating enterprises’ adoption and scalability of AI solutions.
Acknowledging data as the core of AI operations, ServiceNow enhances its Knowledge Graph by advancing its Common Service Data Model (CSDM). This expansion is intended to remove barriers between data sources, enabling more connected and intelligent AI agents. By consolidating data from various channels, ServiceNow’s platform empowers AI agents to operate with a comprehensive enterprise view, facilitating informed decision-making and actions.
In response to a prediction by Gartner that 40% of CIOs will require ‘Guardian Agents’ by 2028 to autonomously oversee AI agent actions, ServiceNow’s Yokohama release steps in to serve as the control tower for AI agents in enterprises. The platform alleviates common challenges like data fragmentation and governance gaps, ensuring smooth data connectivity through Workflow Data Fabric.
Unlike competitors that function independently or require complex integrations, ServiceNow’s AI Agents are built on a single, enterprise-wide platform, guaranteeing seamless data connectivity and offering a consolidated view of all workflows, AI operations, and automation requirements.
Amit Zavery, President and Chief Product Officer at ServiceNow, stressed the importance of agentic AI and its role in enhancing productivity at scale. The platform’s combination of agentic AI, data fabric, and workflow automation simplifies the integration of connected AI into work processes, allowing for faster, smarter, and scalable outcomes.
The Yokohama release also introduces new AI agents focused on accelerating productivity by delivering real results for enterprise-wide applications. These agents include Security Operations (SecOps) expert AI agents, autonomous change management AI agents, and proactive network test & repair AI agents. ServiceNow also offers the AI Agent Orchestrator and AI Agent Studio with expanded features to manage the complete AI agent lifecycle effectively.
By expanding data capabilities and empowering businesses to achieve smarter workflows for maximum impact, ServiceNow’s Yokohama platform release signals a significant advancement in AI for business transformation.
